Reason of the Day: We all regret things we may have done or should have done in the past. The greatest regret one feels is over a lost love or love not realized. Don’t let fear, time, distance or pride keep you from telling another that you love them. Be true to thyself. Don’t worry how it will be received.
Little Book Advice: In our book, “You’re the Reason Your Man Cheats: What Men Want and Women Don’t Give,” we advise our readers to examine their own actions and motives. What you do in a relationship should not be contingent upon what your partner does or does not do. Your loving actions and behavior can set the tone for a renewed and passionate encounter and relationship. Sometimes one partner is waiting for the other to demonstrate love first.
If you feel it in your heart–act it out. As the Good Book says, “Desire deferred makes the heart sick; love fulfilled is like a tree of life.” Don’t hurt yourself trying to hurt another. In the end, you will be filled with regret. Be confident in knowing that you weren’t the reason the relationship didn’t have an opportunity to flourish. Don’t keep the words ‘I LOVE YOU’ to yourself.
